To Arietta,

You probably don't expect this letter, but I'm used to people resenting me. I haven't seen you since the day you arrived here, so I only wanted to check-in on you. For now, the people from our world in Genessia is me, Luke, and you.

I thought about your offer of truce. Was that your offer for peace? If you honor that, I swear on my behalf, we'll honor that too, as a representative of Malkuth. Daath is known to be a nation to be a keeper of the peace between Malkuth and Kimscala, and for now, you were once a citizen of Daath and always will be.

As for the one who murdered your mother, I will take full-blame for her death for I was the one who delivered her final death blow. She died from a full blast of my Indignation, a lightening type of spell. When me and the party were there, Fon Master Ion tried to negotiate with the conflict between the Liger Queen and the Cheagles. Your mother is not in full agreement with us, and therefore, a fight ensued. Should she had continued to fight, Fon Master Ion's life was in danger, so part of the party responsibilities is to protect him from her attacks too, as his health is very fragile.

For now, my intention of this letter: to make sure you'll be all right in this world. You don't have to cooperate with us. But to repay back the lives that are gone, Ion and your mother...I'll cooperate with you if you cooperate with me as an ally. I'm sure Ion will approve. He won't approve if we ignore you.

If you need help, it's okay to ask us for help. That is all. If you ever wanted to speak to me or find me, I am currently still staying at the same inn.

[She responded back with her true feelings and her response is what he needed, as a confirmation to ensure she is still alive. Jade believes the truth is necessary, no matter how much it hurts. And anyway, the intention behind his letter was his strategy is to protect Luke, as his physical state isn't stable as it were since he was pulled from the Tower of Rem.

He isn't phased by her words, because honestly? Dist threatened him with his revenge journal, and his words is pretty tolerable. This is rather...tame, but different.

That is not to say he has no emotional reaction, however, it is not the wracked with guilt kind or sarcastic kind. More like a regret, that once again, he has blood stained on his hands, even if the living being is a monster. Jade understand humans, but not beasts, not in the same way Arietta does, seeing them as her family. He sees them as killable targets.

He won't offer an apology, because honestly, any offer is considered a half-ass act of insincerity. For now, the offer of cooperation would do as a promise of truce.]
